The lines of the kit cause light issues because the light hits at a different angle and it makes it look like the colour doesn't match. White (especially pearl) is very hard to match though. Even from the factory it isn't perfect, the bumpers are a shade off from the fenders/hood. The kit had to be repainted once to get them closer, since the front/rear lips matched the body and not the plastic bumpers. Even if you look at this picture, it's painfully obvious that the factory tow hook cover is a different shade than the rest of the bumper:



Still like I say, the way light hits white pearl can change the way it looks quite a bit, and with the Five:AD kit sitting out from the car and with the lines of the kit it makes it look bad when it isn't. Seeing the car in person gives a better feel for how the colour matches. It's not too bad. Still, I've said it before and I'll say it again, the FR-S does not lend itself to body kits in light colours, in my opinion.
