When I took delivery, the report said my car arrived in port in Baltimore, MD. It then got trucked down to ATL.
Also, if anyone's wondering, VINs are only assigned once a car hits port and clears customs. That usually means a 2 - 3 week wait between VIN receival and delivery. This time will obviously vary depending on ground transportation and how far away you are from the port of entry. Your dealer should know your car's latest location once a VIN is assigned, and once it's on the truck, they should be in contact with the driver and know almost to the hour when the car will arrive.
At least that was my experience.
