I initially wanted the BRZ... Yet a few points helped me head for an FR-S:
- Limited allocations for BRZ (in my area)
- Subaru dealer(s) were charging premiums on top of MSRP
- Trade-in value for my MX-5 Miata (was receiving more from the Toyota dealer for some reason)
- Lower starting price on the FR-S (which ended up being an MSRP of $24,985 for me)
- Had to wait only 3 weeks for my FR-S to arrive after I placed my order at a volume dealer... Order process was less complicated than I expected.
I'm sure these are only
some of the reasons that may possibly relate to other FR-S owners, as well.
