Well at this point for a manual transmission vehicle you would be able to set the rpm you launch the car from a dead stop to minimize wheel spin and for more consistent results while drag racing. Basically you hold the clutch pedal fully depressed and you can simultaneously floor the gas pedal and the rpms will stop at the preset rpms until the clutch is release and the vehicle passes roughly 3-5mph.
