Is clinical lab technologist the same as clinical lab scientist? I'm wondering, because I'm planning on taking classes to finish up pre reqs for CLS training programs and you're saying clinical lab "techs" don't make much money. I look at clinical lab "scientists" and they make average of 75-85k.

EDIT: Yeap, you're not the only lab person. I recently graduated last year with a BS in biochem and doing some lab work to see if I wanted to go for a PhD or do CLS, and well based on my answer above, you see I'm not too fond of the research aspect of lab work. Too many failed experiments and shit going wrong.
