To validate this post as being worthy in a feedback thread I will say this: I was just doing my install and I think the MAF wire is awfully close to the belt. There.

Mine does seem close, but nothing that causes alarm. There's a good 2 inches of space between the wire and the belt.

Instructions call for a 6mm socket to unbolt the stock intake, but it's actually 10mm.

Also, I'm AT and have no problems what so ever. BTW, I didn't disconnect the battery as the ECU learns continusouly so...

One last thing. That rubber tube on the right upper part of the plastic intake tube/body that goes on the "L" fitting. The rubber hose seems to touch/lay on the alternator (???). Should that hose be touching the metal body of the alternator? Won't it melt at some point? Just a bit concerned. So far, I'm loving the intake. As I've said before, the quality/craftmanship of the materials is really surprisingly good. You can really see they spent time during R&D. And the entire transaction with AJUSA has been top notch. Couldn't ask for anything more. :happy0180:
