I had my 350Z lemon law'd back in 2003. From what I remember you have to have a problem that the dealer couldn't fix after 3 tries and this problem has to be something that could cause harm to you if not fixed. I had the manual transmission replaced 3 times (never got a good one) and a whole other host of other problems and that was fairly easy for the consumer lawyer to get me my money back.
I some how doubt this aesthetic problem will get you your money back but good luck. You probably should contact a consumer lawyer and see what they think.
