The 17's look pretty good and are much lighter, but I think 18x8s would be the perfect (IMO) size on this car, I just want the wheels and tires to still be lighter than stock while maintaining the "look" I want. Also the 18s have a hub bore diameter of 56mm, so no hub centric rings. I have no experience in wheels with hub centric rings (every wheel I have owned, have never had them), so I don't know if they are a pain in the ass or not. What's the deal with them? I plan on going 235/40s or 245/40's with either setup. I would plan on getting a drop sometime in the future, so ride height isn't necessarily to big of a problem regardless of the difference in height.

Going with the 255s, my wheel/tire combo is actually a hair heavier than stock. I think the 17s look perfect in person. With a small lowering, it really looks the part. If the sidewalls were any narrower, it'd look hardparked. Hubcentric rings are no big deal. Tirerack included the rings already on the wheels. I've had no problem with them whatsoever.
