I wouldn't wax the car period. EVERY person I know that waxes their car regularly has developed clear coat issues that crop up within a couple of years of ownership.
I've never waxed any on my cars, and I've driven a couple to 150k+ miles, and I've never had a clear coat issue anywhere on the car.
