this should be a standard in considering buying wheels as a starting point. Iv seen 1k dollar wheel break and iv seen a 200 dollar wheel break under the same impact. Iv seen some rotas explode into shreds hitting a curb, and some rotas just bend and get repaired. Iv seen Work wheels crumple at drift events, and volks warp badly.
Theres no magic spell that ensures top safety with top dollar everything is breakable, however a consumer should never overlook the quality and strength of a wheel. Even if the wheel is priced at a higher premium, if it yields a stronger impact rating by even a small margin, that small margin could be the difference between life and death during a critical emergency.
