I'm up for a drive before hand. Might not be able to stay for the BBQ though.

I could lead the drive - starting at "Table 9" or the gas station at annsville circle. Then up to 301 and back to the Taconic to FDR park. The earlier the better - less cars. Here is a video someone posted elsewhere on this forum of the "goat trail" - they started at the gas station.
