Was it a cold day when it stopped working? Cracking usually happens from thermal/physical shock rather than a electrical fault

I'm glad it was minor.. well I finished work late and it was a freezing night (near beach area) and most mornings when I start its cold so gradual impact of fuses being warmed in the cold?
Probably, oh well glad we figured it.
