I have 3M General Purpose Adhesive Remover, in a spray can. Make sure the paint is clean first, then I spray it on a microfiber cloth and just dab the adhesive a few times. Then use your finger and rub it off, comes off with no effort at all. When you're done, wash the area again, or apply spray detailer.
I did a lot of reading about it, and a lot of people prefer the 3M, or Stoner's Tarminator as opposed to Goo Gone. Some people recommended Goo Off, but I'm a bit scared of that stuff to be honest. The 3M stuff worked great.
