Pardon my total ingorance, but really what are the issues with seeing someone's license plate?
Understood a fraudster can masquerade as a known individual of said vehicle and plate but still not sure of the real idenity theft issue versus seeing a plate on the road, etc.
I have my xB in Auto Trader and didnt black out the plate for the pics.
So far just got an email asking why it's for sale, but not looking to buy!?
