I spoke with my Sales Consultant on Wednesday about the actual system - he first went and spoke with the Stock Controller who indicated to him when the order is generated [and YOU can have a copy] it goes to TMCA and at the same time the order is placed [while you are there!] a build month is shown based on information made available to TMCA at the time. Within minutes of my order being placed I had a print out showing all details
Around the 20th of each month ALL orders held by TMCA are uploaded to Toyota Japan and based on world wide demand the 'build month' can vary, some come forward and some move back, mine moved from October to November. So assume from that if you order say 23-24 of the month it will NOT be uploaded to Japan until around the 20th of the NEXT month
Japan goes thru these orders and priority is given to an order showing a CUSTOMER name, and not 'dealer stock'. My assumption from this is regardless of the size of the Dealership the orders once in Japan would/should/could be sorted in order of receipt, that being the lowest order number would be built first
If there are any Dealers or Sales Consultants on this website PLEASE correct me if you think that what I have said is NOT right, I made comments of the same nature a few days ago and no one has so far corrected me. I shoud have asked does the stock number [your tracking password] run cumulative ex Japan and relate to 86's only, again perhaps someone can comment on that
