The only section of the track the Si had the advantage was the straightaway section, which given its extra power doesn't come as a surprise. The other two sections the FR-S was still faster even on mediocre tires. Plus most importantly the hosts freely admit the 86 is the better driver's car and more fun. Plus if you are talking FF cars you might as well throw in the Mazdaspeed which would eat the Si alive while being more practical to boot.
