Moral of the story: Traction and Stability control are your friend, keep them engaged on public roads and help everyone else maintain their insurance premiums. I'm actually pretty excited to see how insurance premiums change once the insurance companies know more about these cars.
PS As a BRZ owner, I do personally look down upon every FRS I come across. Makes me feel good knowing I can spend $3k more for the same car, because I'm just that rich. /sarcasm
