My 3'4" back seat wingman would disagree with your comment on the usefulness of the back seat (though it is small for adults no doubt). Right on about the Primacy tires - I get the feeling Subaru will be "tired" of hearing this complaint and offer a higher grip tire next model year - at least as an option.
My BRZ is actually quite practical as my daily commuter, and I get stares and comments from other drivers almost daily. I don't see that happening with a Civic.
