First, shes using a the baby as some sort of selfish leverage for what she wants to happen. This car has nothing to do with anything. She has a car no? You can just get one 4 door car for her to use and for family use. Life is about compromise, and droive around the same car for 20+ years seems like a lot of compromise on your end to lose what you have been waiting for now.
Last, You are gonna lose your ASS on reselling this now. The effects of the money you will lose, far out weighs any kind of discomfort this car might have on her. This will be a costly mistake financially, mentally, and spiritually... over nothing really. Get another Family/wife only car.
