When I was shopping for my car, one dealer told me that Scion planned on making 15k the first year, and 20k per year after that. I don't know where he got the numbers but looks like they are still above pace if true.
A lot of people, even on this forum, won't buy a car without seeing / test driving. Once people see these cars driving around I bet there will be a second wave of interest.
