I was taught to not use the clutch just rev it out to 3000 or 4000 revs and disengage the gear with the clutch, then release the clutch and apply a "small" amount of pressure on the next gear gate, and around 2500 it just slides in for a very smooth transition and a lot less work on the clutch. But all the threads I have read said that ill be picking up gear teeth in no time. Is it really as bad as people say it is? and Why is so smooth?
