Look we get it Manual is best for this car. But some of us are waiting on the test drive to decide. Like Dalli I understand the point he is making, Paddles aren't automatic, there's sequential now. Meaning you have to operate it, Thus in that sense it's a Manual. Now the argument of the 3rd pedal is right now, your absolutely right. But the point of the matter is people get these auto because they don't want the clutch pedal.

I don't think it's right to fock in and harass people, about their choice that's not fair. Honestly this thread is about people considering auto, not why I like Manual, why is this car best with manual, why is manual so great. No no it's not, lol if you want that go make a manual thread.

And half the people making arguments here, are putting it like if they drove a Ferrari 458 it's not fun because it's auto. If they drove a LFA it sucks because it's Auto, GTR are crap because it's Auto. but fact of the matter is guess what they're faster, people who own them have fun because you can go fast.

If you live in the city like California and near mountains then go ahead get an manual you have that weekend to hit the canyon. For us East people we have to head to the track. NYC is always in traffic, 1se gear 2nd gear stop go 1st gear 2nd gear stop go. MPG goes down the drain, traffic light to traffic light is short. Our week end when we head to auto cross or track it's sport mode, and then paddle away.

I live in DC, my last 4 cars were fun when I'm at a track but when I'm in the city in traffic it's hell. When I take a trip with my gf or when I commute to work, if I'm stuck in traffic I want to be able to grab a quick bite to eat. Or even hold my girl's hand with out having to shift every so often.

There is nothing in no rule book that says you have to drive manual to be an enthusiast. We're all part of the same community, It's quiet petty of the people who came in here, instead to have a discussion of this car we love. We're all selfish talking about how awesome it feels for that person. Get outta here, it's not all about you. Be a little more respectful to your peers.

Blah blah blah blah blah hand eye foot coordination well good for you. You can do that, manual this and that great cool great, if your not considering an automatic or have information about the automatic, then don't come in here and post about how great you are with a manual.

Respectfully he has every right to be angry
I both agree and disagree on some aspects.

First off, I thought I was being fairly respectful to my auto driving brethren. However, the biggest problem is in a poor choice of words. From what I saw, the OP never replied angry. What most people were saying was that they liked manual in their opinion.

I agree though if you are going to storm a thread with a different view you should be making it clear it is your opinion. The issue arrived when the opinionated ones came in saying the other's opinion was wrong. Those also happen to be the ones who are getting angry.

If someone likes driving an automatic, cool. But when they say manuals are stupid and pointless, then I think everyone who likes driving a manual has a God given right to come into this thread and defend themselves. Now if they say "manuals are inconvenient for me" then I think it's fair we respect their decisions.

The same applies when one starts throwing facts around. If they state automatics give the same experience as a manual, that is clearly debatable. Obviously that exact same experience is precisely why others choose automatics. It can be inconvenient.
