^ Thats exactly what happened. I went to Hamza's place to try and fix it(no charge) but no luck. He did however manage to fix the other tail light which had a bit of this stuff and he polished it out for me. Lesson learned dont mess around with chemicals. This lesson cost me $300, had to purchase a new tail light.
