Full Disclaimer: I use both PCs and Macs. I mostly use Macs due to the fact I am a Physics and Video Technology teacher. Unfortunately only Macs run Final Cut Pro X natively. (And yes I know you COULD work around this, but its not worth the effort)

1080P is a HORRIBLE resolution for both Macs and PCs. I am pissed that 8 years ago I could get a monitor with a higher resolution then 1920x1080P. Now due to manufacturers being lazy, all LCD/LED panels utilize the same components with a maximum resolution of 1080P.

As an owner of a Macbook PRO Retina display I can flat out say there is a huge difference between my old macbook pro and my new one. Where once I had to utilize my 27" LCD monitor for editing, I can now use my laptops display and get more clarity for detail.

Am I saying that everyone and their mother needs to get a mac? No way. I think there are a select few like myself who need certain capabilities that the mac does offer.

I will say this: I know I can buy a laptop for $500 that is a Windows PC, but I also know that the Macbook air for 500 bucks more is lighter, smaller, and typically faster. And in most cases will last longer.

Now for desktops? If you are not buying or building a PC you are an idiot. Nuff said about that.

As for Visconti's tune: Holy crap dude. You are doing an incredible job, and now I just need to figure out how on a teacher's salary I can scrounge up the cash for the tune.
Linux FTW, Mac and PC are both trash. Also 2560x1600 > 1080p the U3011f is magical. If you can afford it 2560p is the way to go. Retina display is a gimmick to make stuff more expensive without just straight up telling people that you enjoy a 50% profit margin on all items.

Also Visconti can you answer at least one of my questions? Stage 2 soon or will Stage 1 work with exhaust and intake, and Can we use our own cables and adapters for PC or Android to upload the tune and can we pull it off and swap easily for warranty work? AND if we do need to change our stock flash to keep our warranty is it another $950 each time we have service done to the car that requires ECU work?
