yeah J.T. nailed it, all of my cars when cold seem to smell of raw fuel if the wind hits you just right, but once warmed up you should not get this smell at all.
It is just that in order for the cat to burn off the excess fuel, it must be fully warmed up, which is also why your car will run pig rich during warm up, to help get everything up to operating temp
