Not sure how you guys feel about it but I have done some longer (anywhere from 1-3 hour) races and one thing I have noticed that can make them more enjoyable is forcing all vehicles to run Drag tires. This may sound odd but drag tires do not destroy the cars handling as much as you would think, they do some, but they also wear much, much faster. This forces usually 2-3 pit stops within an hour long race and can add a lot of strategy and fun to a long race with a good number of people involved.
