Sounds like you have a different problem. That sounds closer to rattling. I would check these 3:
1) The rattling noise of the 3rd brake light housing.
2) The rattling/buzzing noise caused by the transmitter not being snug.

I feel you. Mine started at about 1000 miles and I could bear with it only for 1 week. Then it's been driving me nuts everyday.
