is there a function for stretch, albeit minor stretch? yes. ask time attack car owners.... like sun's cyber evo that dominated time attack.
..and ask drifters... gives a more predictable breaking point.. i enjoyed my ae more with stretch than when i had 195s on 7.5s

there will always be the people that straight hate on stretch... and it's usually blind hate. it has its places and uses.
Everyone spouts off the same thing about the Cyber Evo, but in reality they went to a larger tire on the same rims to better compete with the Sierra Sierra EVO. So no, they are not using stretched tires anymore. Here is the article:
