somehow i never got that feeling. most people who knows the history of the development like to credit Subaru for the engineering.
for those of who knows the history. they almost all agreed that, Toyota front the money, the proposal, and manage the project. they also all agreed that Subaru perform most the engineering, incorporates the technology from both company and produce this car.
so when people say the car is Subaru, they are just attributing the engineering effort. but never the less, the GT86/BRZ is a end product of both companies.
