Hi Loki,
The process generally takes about 4 hours, but this can take longer depending on how much prep the car needs before Opti Coat. Ive had instances where it has taken 8 hours, but that was pretty extreme.
Im happy to get the job done at the dealership if they let me...they dont really like letting outsiders into their workshop. Probably because all their "detailers" would stop work and watch me instead
If not im happy to either get it done somewhere else of your choice. Last choice would be to bring it to my place (Parramatta).
The official statement from Optimum states that it takes Opti Coat 12 hours to fully cure and shouldn't get wet during this time. I would check the weather on the day and make sure there is going to be no possibility of rain when your driving back.
