These people aren't your friends, move on. Enjoy the car that way you want to, however don't put down other people for not respecting what you do. Criticism is part of the car world. Not everyone agrees.

I think you're mistaken, I meant enjoying it out on the roads for the summer. But I suppose you may have come to that assumption since I did not clarify it very well. I too, have been waiting for this car since it was just a concept, so i can see that view as well. Of course everyone enjoys their cars in different ways though, and that's their right.
It was just a strange topic to come up at a meet, I'm sure there's a lot of debate among owners since it's the current hype. But it shouldn't really be anyone else's concern how someone else's car is used, and to make a big deal out of it. It just seemed odd when someone who only has an interest in older euro cars to get offended.
I didn't mean to put anyone down, it just seemed like that may be something among owners to debate about, just surprised to hear it coming from someone so unrelated to the car.
