So I've been working on the 2015 BRZ. Recently I've reinstalled my new and improved door cards with door strap pulls. I've also been tackling many other mods and tasks.
I've textured and painted many interior parts and only have a few left to complete. I will take the BRZ to get tint redone before I install the rear interior parts. I'm also modding the rear deck brake light in order to lower its profile.
I'm troubleshooting an issue with no power to the reverse light. I need the reverse light signal to switch my aftermarket HU to backup camera mode.
I also have an issue with no output on the front door speakers. The front door speaker issue has to do with the amp not getting the power signal from HU. I'm trying to locate the position of the amp turn on in the oem harness. I've read of number of things about this issue but none have remedied my issue yet.
I added a fast charging dual USB type C charger. It sits where the OEM USB connection once was. I tapped the connection at the center console 12v plug to power it. I extended the aftermarket HU USB cable and placed a USB connection for Android auto in the old 12v plug location. I kept the casing and flip cover of the oem 12v plug... looks OEM. Looks super clean.
I closed up my super mint Monogram oem seat. I had taken out the heating element to put in my Bride seat years back. I ordered some hog ring pliers and clips to complete this task. Easier than I thought it would be...glad I didn't pay someone to do it. These seats will go into the Brz...in fact, all the seating will be from my Monogram.
