Going on 11 yrs of ownership of my '15, just turned 40k miles recently and still am finding little things to do to it even to this day. Did several things to it this year actually, both performance and visual. Like many have said and i agree, Boxer motors are very reliable as long as you don't hammer them day in and day out, but thats with any engine, the more floor it the less reliable it becomes, unless of course certain years and makes of cars are gonna blow by 100k wether you baby them or not. Most of Subaru's bad rap comes from crappy owners not the drivetrain itself, they beat them like a rented Mule, don't check or change fluids regularly, don't wax paint, etc. I certainly have fun with mine but i don't beat it, theres a big difference.
