Not to mention the new roof reduced my homeowner's policy by about 25% per year. That doesn't happen often with a claim.
Fortunately it was from hail damage, not "your roof is missing because of a tornado" damage.
Actually, this is the second roof insurance has paid for on this house. Same issue about 15 years ago.
