Revo Technica Trunk Brace

Installed the first step of my bracing experiment. This is the Revo Technica Trunk Brace. People may think these are just cheap ebay braces but they developed these for TOM's in Japan and sold at 5 times the price. https://www.86worx.com/toms-rear-body-brace.html

I like that their website lists the weights so you know what your getting into. So 6.5lbs for a combined rear strut brace and rear decklid brace isnt bad. https://www.revotechnica.com/frs_brz_braces.htm

I wasnt sure how the decklid part would mount but it seems there are already factory mount studs for I dunno what from the factory

I didnt want to deal with cutting up the stock trunk cover so there is 2.5lbs gained back. I used a light piece of coroplast for the base layer and a light trunk mat I had laying around to cut up.

I cant drive yet as Im waiting on some idler pulleys from NST ( I Screwed up and overtorqued one causing it to seize) But hoping this eliminates some of the rear rattles I have from motor and transmission mounts.

I am now at 2387.25 lbs
