Actually, scar tissue is mother nature's glue. It also acts as a shrink wrap. The palm of the hand is a busy place. As scar matures, it pulls the area together. If it inadvertently attaches to a finger tendon or 2, they can't move. It would be like a big wad of chewing gum mushed in to the palm at the base of the fingers.

A good hand therapist can manage scar tissue with splinting, scar massage, and stretching.
