Way back when I was a PT working in a hospital, we would often see patients to get them up and moving after surgery. One of the side effects of general anesthesia and pain meds is constipation. And it can be bad. Sometimes just getting them up and about would free things up along with a Fleet's.

It didn't work with this on guy. I had seen him in the morning. We walked around a bit with no results. When I went back in the afternoon the poor nurses were performing a digital disimpaction ( yes, use your imagination). I left rather quickly.

So yes, you can get reamed out by management.
