Well.. I FINALLY found the solution to this. A lot of people on this forum over the years abandoning posts after saying they are going to start working on a solution, but I have found a company in the UK that will send you a modified front subframe with a BMW hydraulic rack, pump and pulley for your 86. Pre check out is 2,135 Euros. I think I am going to be the guinea pig on this one.
