hate to keep reviving this ancient thread but apparently it's still an issue 10 years later! WTF Subaru. This starts happening after car is fully warmed up. Only about 17K miles, been to dealer service 3x now, they replaced the pedal assembly twice - not sure what they're trying to do...maybe run out the clock on my warranty which is up in 6 weeks! What's the current consensus solution on this? If I let it go is this a symptom which will become major? Or is it just an annoying Subaru thing?
