Maybe all my pads are dead, or there's something wrong with my DA? I don't remember it being this difficult. I seem to be the only person on the Internet who can't figure it out. Of course detailing forums are basically dead now too...

Any of y'all use something different you like?
First off, don't expect too much from a red car paint.

Wash thoroughly using a camel hair brush and lye soap.

Rince with cistern water.

Apply Simonize wax.

Wipe off with an old T-shirt or better yet, baby diapers.

Yep, it's been a while since I've waxed a car -
