I must say, it is an ever so slight upgrade from my trusty 5600x. Frames are up a bit and the chip runs roughly as cool as my 5600x. I'm happy with the outcome, but I'm simply buying time till the new chips release later this year.

I went with the 5800X3d since i figured hey this will be the last CPU i put in this thing, might as well make it the best of the best. I did debate for a 5700x3D for a little bit but just said F it, go big or go home since any upgrade after will likely need a new mobo/CPU/RAM anyways.
I was upgrading from a Ryzen 5 2600X so even a 5700X3d would have been a massive upgrade for me lol.
