2013 Scion FR-S: Tastefully Modified
Been a long time coming but finally decided to part with my FR-S. Bought a GR Corolla last year and struggling for space and time to use these things.
Car is immaculate. It's rarely seen rain, stored winters. It's an original launch year 2013 with only 23,824kms (July 2, 2024), original owner (Toyota Canada associate) and all original parts included. No body modifications performed, all bolt on parts, and only the most tasteful options selected to enhance and improve every aspect of this cars look and feel. Even the audio upgrades were made without splicing a wire - the microphone for the Alpine radio uses a custom 3D printed housing to allow it to "clip" into the factory location.
Amsoil fluids since day one in all driveline and engine. June 2018 the transmission was replaced due to a known intermittent grind in 3rd. At the same time the clutch was replaced with an Exedy Stage 1, new OEM flywheel, and all new bearings. In June 2024, the valve spring recall was finally performed and again, I took the opportunity to again replace the throw out bearing and clutch fork due to their tendency to fail on this car. All warranty and recall work was done at Scarborough Toyota with records. Car runs perfect and I have photos of the internals and work progress if anyone is interested to see the condition and wear (or lack of).
Brand new Yokohama Advan AD08R tires installed in April 2024 with less than a 300kms on them this year.
Some of the parts are extremely rare including the JPM Coachworks interior parts, TRD steering wheel, and Downforce Aero Kit (of which I have a complete, in box, spare which will be included at asking price - $1000 alone).
Vehicle can be seen in Springwater, just outside of Barrie. Anyone in the area likely knows the car from TLMC autocross events where the car podiumed back in my less-lazy slalom days. It's an ultra fun, ultra competitive car in STX class with the right nut behind the wheel.
