I purchased the “dry” filter from Summit Racing after receiving and using the oiled filter included with the used Edelbrock kit I purchased.
I was disappointed upon opening the package to find the “dry” filter identical to the oiled filter less the oil. Honestly, after cleaning the oiled filter, to use as a back-up, I concluded that the dry filter was a waste of money. Just clean and re-install the original. Sure it’s not pretty. But who sees it anyway.
FYI, my Edelbrock dry filter part number is 035051-157.
