People are losing their shit about EA WRC because there is a new patch coming that uses a kernel-level anti cheat. Seems like this is the new standard. While I'm big into PC gaming, I honestly have little knowledge about anti-cheats and which are good and bad. I have a basic understanding of what kernel level means, but outside the people screaming about how dangerous it is, it seems there are far more games that have it than I realized. Not sure whether to panic, be cautious, or outright abandon all games that have it. But it seems to be a developing trend I'm noticing with games these days. Thoughts?
