I saw those numbers in the news too. Pretty disappointing.

To me, it seems like Subaru has let the world forget the BRZ even exists. I don't recall ever seeing a single add or media product after the initial blitz when the cars hit the market.

Today, when the twins are discussed, only the GR86 gets mentioned. In magazines, car reviews, video's etc. Toyota's marketing team is really pushing the car as a member of it's GR family. You get crickets from Subaru. I had a co-worker the other day say something like, "Subaru makes a sports car? And it isn't AWD?" That's rather telling...

What does surprise me is considering how much better the sales experience with Subaru seems to be over Toyota, that people in the "know" aren't flocking to Subaru to avoid the mark-ups and other nonsense. Maybe all talk of the GR86 being the "better" twin is keeping them away.
