Good points. I probably won't attempt it if no one else had any experience and Whiteline either don't respond or respond that they do not recommend it.
The only silver lining is that trying it out won't involve pressing the big metal part of the bushings (which is a huge pain), and can be done without removing the control arm from the knuckle (just from the car).
