I have the HKS Spec L from the 1st gen on my 22 BRZ - it has some freeway drone but otherwise nice deep tone, relatively mellow cold start. I'm on the fence about whether or not the freeway drone is going to be ok, it can be like an earworm, once you start noticing it then it's annoying but other times I don't notice it - I've had it for about 2 months. If this doesn't work out maybe a Nameless axleback, or just go stock (but then it's hard to hear for rev match/downshifts). I think the car needs something, just haven't found it yet!
