We got mrs humfrz a new machine. -

A 2024 Honda CR-V EX-L. Yep, an SUV with AWD.

Her 16 year old Saturn was getting the crankshaft and camshafts timings all confused and Bubba couldn't figure out how to fix it -

I picked the make (Honda), she picked out the model, color, trim and accessories.

Since I might be driving it from time to time, she insisted on the ultimate backing up accident protection package.

(I know @Ultramaroon and @Sapphireho and others, will be in favor of that)

The backing up package starts off with a very bright, large (9") reverse camera screen. It has lines superimposed on the picture that projects the location of the rear of the vehicle. Yep, all I gotta do is keep it "within the box".

In addition, it has sensors in the rear that show a diagram and red flashing lines that project out to objects. Also, there is a chime that goes off, that gets louder as the driver approaches objects.

She also got the add on, which is an arm that swings out from the headliner and hits me in the head and blares out "STOP FOOL", just before I would back into anything.

Then if I still back into something, the brakes are automatically applied, the whole system shuts down and won't restart with my fob. Then the information system notifies mrs humfrz, with the car's location, telling her that I am unable to safely driver her car anymore -

Maybe she will let me drive it someday -
