I see the opposite. The tC took off in the aftermarket like a bat out of hell. It was nearly overnight that HKS and the likes were building full carbon fiber race cars out it. I think the FR-S if it stays under Scion would take off just as fast with the aftermarket. There are just to many people waiting on this car for it to sit for a couple of years without some instant developments.
Seeing as how it's a sports car, I would imagine the accessories from the Scion dealer would cater a little more on the performance side of things. At least that's what I would like to see.

Don't get me wrong, all the big aftermarket companies are quick to make aftermarket parts but I was stating that it maybe a while before we see a riced out FR-S.
Just like any dealership, their aftermarket parts are very limited and bland to say the least; exhaust tips, basic wheels, wheel locks, shift knobs, pin stripe kits etc.
