Just for fun we tested this on my R6 at the drag strip. It was faster with just a +2 sprocket in the rear vs the typical -1/+2 that is often done (well back when I still rode) on nearly everything since they are geared so long from the factory.
Motorcycles and cars are two different animals. My 2011 zx10r could do 109mph in 1st gear stock and I did -1+2 and it was always in torque.

The brz of geared like I stated would be great for tighter tracks, mountains but obviously hwy would suffer.
